I’m Dr. Shai Wyborski, but friends call me Deshe.

I am a researcher, educator, science communicator, and content creator.

I live in Jerusalem with my fiancé Noa and our cat Nacho.

I am a zeroth-generation contributor to the Kaspa cryptocurrency and a co-author of the GHOSTDAG paper.

My content is about mathematics and science, cryptography, and decentralized consensus, concentrating on presenting the theory and underlying ideas to a mixed audience.

My flagship project is the open book Understanding BlockDAGs and GHOSTDAG, but I am working on a lot of other content as well.

My goals are:

  • Get “ordinary people” excited about the theory that underlies cryptography and cryptocurrencies

  • Deepen the scientific literacy of the general crypto space

  • Equip ordinary users with tools to recognize and critique problematic conduct and sloppy work

  • Provide comprehensive and well-structured resources to anyone who wants to get into Kaspa development

If any of this speaks to you, I invite you to explore my website and content, read about myself and my vision, and consider supporting my work.
