I’m Dr. Shai Wyborski, but friends call me Deshe.
I am a researcher, educator, science communicator, and content creator.
I live in Jerusalem with my fiancé Noa and our cat Nacho.
I am a zeroth-generation contributor to the Kaspa cryptocurrency and a co-author of the GHOSTDAG paper.
My content is about mathematics and science, cryptography, and decentralized consensus, concentrating on presenting the theory and underlying ideas to a mixed audience.
My flagship project is the open book Understanding BlockDAGs and GHOSTDAG, but I am working on a lot of other content as well.
My goals are:
Get “ordinary people” excited about the theory that underlies cryptography and cryptocurrencies
Deepen the scientific literacy of the general crypto space
Equip ordinary users with tools to recognize and critique problematic conduct and sloppy work
Provide comprehensive and well-structured resources to anyone who wants to get into Kaspa development
If any of this speaks to you, I invite you to explore my website and content, read about myself and my vision, and consider supporting my work.
